Satchit Mainali

​Satchit Mainali is a sixteen-year-old Nepali-American violinist based in Northern Virginia. He started playing the violin at nine and is currently studying under the tutelage of Laura Kobayashi. Mainali was a Finalist in the SVA Youth Violin Concerto Competition and received an Honorable Mention in the U.S. Army Orchestra Young Artist Competition. He has studied at the Brevard Music Center Summer Institute and will attend the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival this summer.
