Satchit Mainali

Satchit Mainali is based in Virginia and started playing the violin at the age of nine and currently studies under the tutelage of Dr. Laura Kobayashi. A current high school sophomore and avid orchestral musician, he serves as the concertmaster of the American Youth Symphonic Orchestra and as a first violin of the Thomas Jefferson High School Symphonic Orchestra, where he is a member of the respective Tri-M Music Honor Society chapter and partook in a clinic from New York Philharmonic staff conductor Michael Adelson. He has won a seat in the Northern Virginia Senior Regional Orchestra for two consecutive years. Chamber music studies include Studio Muse's CONCERTium workshop, where he was a member of a string trio and performed works by Beethoven and Dohnanyi.
